Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) was founded in 1994. EIHP’s main activities include the implementation of scientific research in the energy sector and the provision of professional support and advisory services to public authorities and stakeholders in Croatia and internationally. Founded in 1994, the Institute comprises 6 research departments and employs 80 employees, predominantly researchers and engineers, who deliver more than 200 projects per year in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Within Value4Farm, the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) will lead Work Package 5, which covers three following tasks: 1. Market analysis and design of business models for the renewable-based value chains; 2. Raise the profile of energy production among farmers associated with the replication sites; 3. Intellectual property rights management. Additionally, EIHP will lead Task 4.2. in which EIHP will cover 1) the financial and 2) the economic analysis of the value chains (Belgium, Italy, and Denmark).
