CM#2 – Value4Farm’s partners reunited for progress at Denmark Demo Site

From September 11th to 12th, the Value4Farm team came together in Viborg, Denmark, for their second consortium meeting (CM#2), hosted by the Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University. It was an inspiring milestone for our team, advancing our mission to bring innovative, sustainable solutions to European agriculture.

Throughout the event, partners shared updates on the progress of various projects taking place across our demonstration sites in Italy, Belgium, and Denmark. Highlights included Denmark’s cutting-edge experiments with agrivoltaics and green biorefining, Belgium’s advancements in biogas-powered machinery, and Italy’s customised agrivoltaics systems designed to meet farm-specific energy demands.

A key part of the Denmark meeting was the hands-on exploration of Aarhus University’s biogas plant, agrivoltaics, and biorefinery facilities. This immersive experience underscored the importance of close collaboration and on-site learning to bring sustainable farming solutions from concept to field application.

Thank you to Aarhus University and to all our partners for their invaluable contributions.
