Interdisciplinary dialogue on agrivoltaics at Aarhus University

Last week, inspiring discussions took place at the Department of Agroecology – Aarhus University on agrivoltaics.

They brought together diverse expertise to shape the future of sustainable food and energy systems. From agronomy to architecture, business, and social sciences, the exchange highlighted how innovation thrives through dialogue. The conversations went far beyond technical details, touching on social acceptance, design innovation, and business models for agrivoltaic systems.

The meeting included a memorable visit to the agrivoltaics pilot site at AU Viborg.

We’re proud to see projects like Value4Farm paving the way for impactful solutions aimed at integrating renewable energy with sustainable food production, pursuing the decarbonisation of agricultural systems accross Europe.

A big thank you to all contributors and hosts for making this inspiring meeting possible.
